[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This micro computer is amazing. The small size is super helpful for my crowded desk. But, the power it has increases my production ten fold. I love the fact that it's small, yet it doesn't get hot. I was worried about that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] extremely satisfied with the product. I normally use laptops have a number of them, decided to try the mini tower. What an improvement in my work experience, highly recommend this model and make.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It all looks good on paper. Compared to the competition lenovo has better ports (high speed standard) and competitive pricing. But it all comes down to standing behind your products. Had ir thinkcentre tiny for about a month and received 2 bios updates (very unusual), on the first one no issues but on the second it would not give access to log back in (windows lock screen, in our case a pin).
Researching online revealed that windows and lenovo have been aware of this very issue for several months. Both windows an lenovo are to blame for fixing the issue but lenovo is who i bought a windows computer from.
Lenovo initially looked into the issue by having us run a very tedious diagnostic and then washed their hands of this issue as, according to them, "its not a hardware issue so there is nothing we can do".
First, you sold a windows os computer. Second, the bios issue had been reported to lenovo and Microsoft (according to Microsoft). So there for you should have already fixed the bios update problem, and, at least warned that updating your bios may cause significant issues.
In the end we are very disappointed with lenovo for not fixing a known issue. We spent over 20 hours with communcations, diagnostics and finally having to reimage our drive with a complete loss of all data and settings. Ive owned HP, ASUS, and Dell towrers and laptops and have never had any issue greater than maybe having to reinstall an update.
No thanks lenovo, will not be a future customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
