I’m so excited to get this range! I have been wanting a red range with convection and waited until we finished our kitchen remodel. I’m still waiting on the electrician to come change out our wall plug so I can’t bake yet. I’m so excited to see how my sourdough bakes up.
Loving our oven/range so far! Had some issues with a gas line part initially so it did have some black spot build up but once we got that figured out, it has been much better.
This the most I've ever spent on a range and I expected it to be great. But it's not. There are some basic things that you expect to have on almost any oven that are not present with this oven. For instance, there is no pre-heat indicator. You have no idea when it's ready to use. when I asked the company about it they said that they said that no matter what temp you set the oven at it would take 35 minutes to reach that temp. So if you want it to be 500 degrees or 250 degrees it will take the same amount of time to get there. Really? We finally bought a thermometer which we hang in the oven so we can see when it's ready to use. It also does not have a timer. What oven does not have a timer? The oven controls are a little hard to get used to but eventually we'll get used to it. So just today the burners won't light. They spark but there is no gas coming out. Haven't figured that one out yet. The owners manual just says to make sure that gas is turned on. It's been working for two weeks. Yes, the gas is on. So now what? When we were first installing it I needed to know what the size of the breaker should be. In other words, how many amps will it pull. No where does it give that information. So I called the company...again. Left a message. They said they would return my call within five minutes. I'm still waiting.
Recent purchase, but was immediately impressed with how well built and put together the range is. Easy to understand directions and having the burner covers easily removable makes cleaning a breeze. Also, the ultra low “simmer” burners are great for low flame cooking and warming.
We finally remodeled our kitchen and since we cook and entertain, this Kucht range with the red door is perfect! So easy to clean, and a joy to cook with for just 2 or 20!
