Everything about this phone is fantastic except for one (deal killer) aspect: the fold. In low light/darkness the display is a wonder to hold and behold. But in "room" lighting, the fold becomes VERY noticeable and requires holding it at a specific angle in order for it to not be distracting (to me).
Again, great improvement but probably still needs a generation or two of improvement before it can be a replacement "daily driver" for me. As it is, I'll continue to use my S24+ and grab my Tab S8+ when I want a bigger screen for content, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can conveniently carry it in my pocket or bag, and it serves as an excellent companion during my runs.
The camera quality is remarkable, and the new Galaxy AI feature is incredibly useful for composing emails, notes, and quick letters.
I am particularly fond of Samsung Notes, and the AI features note and transcript assist feature proves invaluable during meetings.
The battery life is impressive, and the phone operates swiftly. There are also ample customization options. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the device.

This phone is not just a fashion statement; or a nostalgic throw back with the fold design, it’s packed with incredible features that make it a joy use daily.
One of the standout features for me is the “Galaxy AI.” It personalizes my experience in ways I never thought possible. Z Fold 6 is a game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z Fold 6 sets the bar high for the foldable phone market. I am extremely pleased with my new phone. Galaxy AI provides an awesome wow factor that I haven't seen in a cellular device in many years. My new Z Fold allows me to cut down on carrying so much tech. I can do everything with this one device with ease. The screen is vibrant, using the stylus is smooth and opening and closing is a definite head turner. The ui is clean and easy to navigate. This device has so many features it's literally a phone, tablet, mini-computer all in one. Im glad to be back in the Samsung eco-system.

Two stars only because its a phone and it does make calls. The rest is frustrating. I've had all the Samsung phones since the Note 3 through a ZFold 4,5 and now 6. Did the smart transfer twice. It dumped all but the recent text message history - years of it. Photo's are half there. They are forcing google talk on you now for a chat client. Samsung is become the Sony of the early 2000's, all hype no service. Odyssey Ark was an instant waste of thousands of dollars with no fix, Just buy our new addition. It didn't last two months, no honoring of warranty, just the suggestion to buy the Ark 2. Galaxy buds pro 2 were a waste. Galaxy Book4 Ultra continues to disappoint. 3 Samsung Tv's and 3 Monitors, all mediocre at best. I am done with Samsung!

I recently upgraded from my Z Fold 3 to the Z Fold 6, and I'm liking it so far. The biggest difference for me is the front screen size which makes a big difference when looking at and typing on the front screen. But weirdly enough, I kinda miss the old hinge on my Fold 3 which seems to be a lot smoother to open, not so stiff and rigid like the Z Fold 6, but the 6 is still solid I'll get use to it. I’m loving the AI features, and it’s awesome that I can still use my pen to jot down notes. I appreciate that the DeX feature is still offered on this phone as I have had in the previous Samsung phones. The phone feels super premium, though I do miss the curved edges a bit. This phone seems a bit more masculine with sharp edges I don't really like corners being so sharp wish it was a bit smoother on the edges. I do wish they could have made the phone a lot slimmer this go round, but I do notice the weight of the Z-Fold 6 is a lot less heavier than the Z-Fold 3. So I would have given the phone a 5 star but I really don't like the sharp edges and the phone could have been a lot slimmer this go round and they need to figure out how to implement the S-pen inside the phone instead of buying a bulky case to support the pen. Overall this is a good solid phone. I have no regrets, just looking for better results with the with the next upgrade.
