Retro toy for all ages

My son absolutely loved it very much easy to transform into a beetle. It’s sturdy made of durable plastic. Definitely a staple to have in your collection. Will buy more most definitely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has been a huge transformers fan since he was able to play with toys! I got him this Vintage G1 Shrapnel Transformer toy and he was ecstatic! This is inspired by the characters appearance in The Transformers movie, Classic Conversation. This transforms from beetle to robot mode in 5 steps. It was very easy for him to figure out how to transform it too! Another thing he really liked was it included accessories. It came with six Energon cubes, and a blaster. That made it even more fun to play with. Overall, this is a really awesome toy! It would make the best gift for birthdays, or holidays for any transformers fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew is a huge fan of the transformers movies. He is 8. He was so excited to get this toy. It made his day. I don't know many of characters myself but he knew exactly who it was and was able to transform it with no issues.

This item was very appealing to the eye and I knew I wanted the item right away. It kept me busy for quite sometime and allowed the brain to concentrate and get a good brain workout. Amazing product!

The battle cry is so awesome. This transformer is made very well and will hold up to hours of playtime. I highly recommend this product!

fun but slightly delicate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has a lot of fun transforming Shrapnel. I like that there are some fun accessories included as well. The toy itself is fairly easy to transform without following pictures. We did however discover that the white pieces on his back that have the wheels attached, come off pretty easily. It does not take much to knock them off and they can be a little tricky to get back in. If you or your child is passionate about transformers or a collector, this is a great piece of the Transformers collection.

Great retro figure to add

Box art is 100% fantastic and feels like a cross between the cartoon action and the old school designs you would see on the boxes from the 80's and gen 2 figures.
The figure is HEAVILY designed on the old molds, it lacks the chrome wrap and the metal that were present in the orginal. Note, this dosen't make it bad, just different. The old mold also lacks the articulation present in the new figures, so while this one has a ton of nostalgic charm it does miss out on the newer figures possibility. Included in the box are a blaster that clips over the forearm, loosely, and some energon cubes which I honestly really like. Great for setting up a fun display with the beetle given it's g1 roots.
