The controls of the cooktop are placed on the front, so the temperature setting is accessible. it's helpful when I want high heat for boiling and low heat for simmering.

how can you not love this stove it has all you need on a standard stove top looks feels and functionaly top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for great stove top.
