The unit is solid but you need to be to delicate handling it (if you will move it's place) to avoid damage or dents and maintain it's elegant appearance

kitchen renovation was still a mess so after it was installed for a month when I open I saw it was a nice finish I through maybe it would be like our old cooktop, NOPE ! so satisfied
