This rice cooker performs well. It cooks rice evenly every time. The bottom does not burn even after repeated use. It heats fast so cooking time stays short. The rice comes out fluffy, not wet and not dry.
The inner pot feels durable. Rice does not stick easily. Cleaning takes little effort. It runs quietly while cooking. There is no burnt smell. Results stay consistent even with a full pot.
This product offers good value. I use it daily at home. It works reliably for everyday meals. I would buy other Starfrit products again. Fingers crossed on the draw.

Nice looking, simple kitchen must-have

I bought this rice cooker to replace a smaller, similar one whose teflon coating had started to come off. I like this one for the ceramic coating which I hope will last much longer. The 10 cup capacity is perfect for my family of 3 for weekly use, while allowing me to make bigger batches when needed. Love the "keep warm" option. One small issue is that the measurement markings on the inside are a bit hard to see. Otherwise we're very happy with this rice cooker.

I bought this for my move in and it is nice for the following reasons:
1) easy to carry and store
2)I like that we can cook rice and steam veggies at the same time.
3)Its durable because this is the second time Ive purchased.
