Well lighted. Attractive outside. Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for the same model I purchased a year ago, which had a defective door gadget. I had to step down to this model due to finances. I would have preferred to buy a larger model with freezer on the bottom but am now on fixed income so had to step down. I am ok with this fridge. Don’t like that I have to bend over so far to get items as I’m 76 and have some orthopedic limits. The freezer is adequate but doesn’t hold much because if there is not adequate space in front of the air vents, ice cream does not freeze solid and I’m afraid other foods won’t as well. Fortunately I have a deep freeze. This model runs a lot more than my previous side by side. I am thankful for the replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Acceptable but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second version of this model. The first one arrived and had broken seals and dents. The second arrived seemed fine and within 3 months the seals on the doors came off. Good news is that the company were good and had a repair person come to fix the issue. The bad part was it took me nearly 35 mins to speak to someone to discuss my issues. The fridge itself is relatively quiet and keeps food cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Pleased With My Whirlpool Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly pleased with my new Whirlpool refrigerator. It runs quietly and has more room than I anticipated. I did not want an ice maker as I don't use the town water. (Make my own ice cubes using spring water.) Since I ordered this efficiency model, I'll be interested to see if there is a slight difference in my electricity usage. My prior refrigerator was a 20-year-old Kenmore which was most probably made by Whirlpool!

Configuration is key

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice to finally have a fridge that closes tight, maintains a constant temperature and is configured so I can see easily into the back. The door shelves are spaced just right and easy to adjust.

Repaired Already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago , had to have the electronics replaced after basically new out of the box. Whirlpool should have replaced a fridge that needed repair right after I got it.It still does not keep a constant temperature in the freezer but I have been told that a 15 degree fluctuation between -5F and +10F is normal. I have never owned a refrigerator that does not have a separate control for the freezer. The quality of the entire fridge is poor at best, cheap plastic door shelves, no freezer light, useless freezer door shelves. It will probably have to be replaced shortly after the warrantee expires. To say the least I am not impressed and wish I had found one on display before I bought it as I would have never bought one.

Pleasantly Surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My refrigerator died right in the middle of the pandemic. I was surprised how difficult it was to find a new one. The fridge that died after 27 years had a bottom freezer and was 36 inches wide. It was a little too big for the space and I decided to purchase a 30 inch. I couldn't find a bottom freezer style unless I went to french doors, which I didn't want. I ended up with a top freezer in stainless steel. I have found that even though the fridge is 6 inches smaller it seems to have just as much room as my old fridge except the crispers are smaller. I like the stainless steel and don't find it difficult to keep clean. Overall I am quite happy with this fridge and feel I made a good decision. Not sure if it will last 27 years as I have heard 7 to 10 is what you get now.

When I moved into my new home, my old refrigerator decided to go out. I looked around for awhile for a replacement. I am happy that I took my time and got this refrigerator. It is really large to accommodate my family. There is lots of space to store my freezer items and there are plenty of shelves on the door to store drinks and condiments. The drawers have temperature control sliders to match your produce up with the correct humidity. The deli drawer is nice size and adjustable. There is room for all my dietary needs. I love fruits and can store whole melons inside. No more over ripened fruit due to lack of storage space. I am very happy with this purchase.

Having had my Kelvinator appliances for 28 reliable years it was time to bid the fridge a well deserved good-bye. Both my oven & refrigerator were bought from Brault & Martineau so I decided to Google the appliance to make a comparison & found that Whirlpool fit the bill and am more than pleased w/my purchase. Overall well designed. Spacious,making it easy to locate items and place them in order, cleaning is a breeze. Nice surfaces that wipe off with ease. I have put the matching stove on lay-away for the time being so if I am lucky enough to be chosen as winner my wish would be the accompanying DISH WASHER to complete my kitchen decor as that too is almost ready to bid adieu.
