Good for basic home printing

I bought mine exactly a year ago and now am awaiting a new toner cartridge. I remember being baffled at first about the setup scrolling on the little screen (for wireless setup, I suppose) but I a cable hookup to my desktop computer works simply. I most enjoy the two-sided printing.

Smooth Operation!

I had held off by a new printer and all I needed was a good, solid black and white printer for daily use. I found it. My new Xerox b230 is exactly what I wanted and it has never disappointed me. Always ready and instant response. My family is so surprised that they can print from wherever they are on the house. The wireless feature is fantastic. I knew I could count on Xerox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a minute to get used to the settings and we had a few misprints but, once that was figured out it has made my job much easier. It is a breeze to connect to the printer wirelessly since I have to print from my phone often.

Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used HP printers for years, but they were consistently inconsistent--one day they would be working fine, then the next they would randomly stop responding and would require troubleshooting. We tried the Xerox B230 printer as an alternative. So far, they have been a breath of fresh air compared to the HPs. They have been reliable, much easier to install and configure, and take up less space than their HP counterpart. My only small complaint with the Xerox B230 is that its out-of-the-box default print setting prints a bit light; however, adjusting the toner darkness setting solves this problem well enough.
