Love my Alexa

It’s THE device I use to listen to all music. I’ve had an Alexa for years and got a second one to take to my workplace. I’m so used to voice command it was weird to not have one at work. If you listen to music in your kitchen like I do while cooking then this is perfect. Add your Spotify and Amazon music and enjoy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frustrating pop-ups

The last software updates added Akexa+ which is very annoying. My preset home screen with a clock was mostly gone because the device consistently pops up with suggestions and ads. There's no way to disable Alexa+ until after a lot of searching online. Eventually, I found that the only to disable it was through voice command.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product is so slow dont recommend

product is so slow cant believe amazon cant make good software. The echo is so slow and unresponsive, when linked to doorbell app it takes 30 seconds to respond by that time your family might as well drive home.

Can't Turn Off Ads

I would have given this device a much higher rating for its size, quality screen, sound quality, and configurability, but Amazon ads are force fed at least every 2 to 5 minutes and these CANNOT be turned off. Was thinking of using this as an alarm clock / Blink door bell chime. The live weather info would be useful for starting daily commutes....if you can get past the ads.
Had I known about the force-fed ads, I would NOT have purchased this device. I wish somebody could have warned me about this so called "feature" before purchasing it. Disappointing paperweight to an otherwise useful product.
