True to life doc stylist handwriting. Rests a wash

Great phone, although as a daily power user there are two notable improvements over the s23u. Vast amounts of my life in flagship devices.
Pros: 1- Digital documents... goodbye copier/printer! Cause of the breathtaking pixel ratio. Where this is the FIRST device that allows nearly true stylist handwriting. Where previous models distorted handwriting docs, lacking the ability to zoom in and continue with fluid handwriting throughout a digital document.
2- the square bezel. Frankly, a wash. This years view wallet case is bad. Slippery especially for kickstand/desktop horizontal viewing. Where it requires a backstop watching at table and i had to purchase a bathtub phone holder...
Cons: (as of October 24 updates)100x zoom on s23u still beats the s24u! Looks overly watercolored on s24u by ai. Tested on signs, faces and license plates.~100yards. S23u won- capable of securing a better image.

No more vivid mode.

I pre ordered few weeks ago and got it on January 26th. Wanted to trade in my S22ULTRA . And thankfully I didn't do so. The cameras quality is bad compared to the S23U and S22U . It makes me look pale. The screen colors washed out. Looks dull. Grey. Even on vivid mode. Seems like they chose for us that vivid mode will look identical to Natural mode without allowing us to really enjoy the colors of vivid on the S24 line. I returned my S24ultra Today and staying for another year with my S22Ultra. Hopefully they will make a better display colors for the S25Ultra next year.

Bad screen

So sad to see how an absolute beauty of phones (like S21-S23 Ultra series) turn so bad in the S24 ultra version. I'm speechless and can't understand what was the reason to make such a bad display. Thankfully I can still return it, but I'm really disappointed as I was looking to upgrade from my S21U which btw, has a much much better display. Seems Samsung is aware of it considering how many comments and feedback they received from customers on this, so hopefully it will be just a one off. As for upgrade I would rather wait for the S25U to see the screen on new version, but for current version, I would just recommend potential buyers to first check the phone in person.

THIS PHONE IS A GIMMICK

I've had my S24 Ultra for about two weeks now. This was a worthless upgrade for me. I upgraded from an S21 Ultra, and my fiancé has the S23 Ultra as well. So, the AI is very limited in what it can do. A lot of what is advertised won't always work, especially when you get creative. Also, as someone who watches a lot of media on my phone, the stuttering is horrible, with Hulu getting the worst of it. Even after uninstalling apps and reinstalling them, the stutter continues. I even tried changing the screen refresh rate from adaptive to standard, and still, no solution. If you're looking for something good, the cameras are great, and that's about it. If you have an S21 Ultra, stay with it because this phone was just an advertising gimmick, which I hate to say because I've always had a Samsung phone, and this is the first upgrade where I'm sincerely disappointed.

Wanted to upgrade from my S22Ultra and absolutely hated it. The washed out colors were atrocious and their update to fix it still didn't compare to the vivid tones of any previous phone. Got my battery replaced by a third party and I'm very happy with it and will be using it for the foreseeable future.

Love the camera, the durability, and the resolution on the phone but I'm going to be honest I really don't like those new security updates that blocked me from being able to download modded games from a third party sorce, telling me that the app is not compatible with my phone but when I download the non modded version, it downloads just fine from Google Play Store, its very upsetting for me
