A year later/unhappy

Unfortunately the cooktop cracked the week of Thanksgiving where I ended up using one side to cook. Now I can only use one out four because there is no electricity coming in. I contacted the store where I purchased it because I had a 5 year protection plan but they refused to change it and my one year warranty expired. That one spot that works is giving me now that same sound ready to break.

The cooktop shows spots easily

I never received a manual so not sure how to use the convection oven. Don't like having to look up online every time I have a question.

Nice stove but glass top hard to clean

Nice stove but the glass cooking surface is harder to clean. Dish soap cleans well except for the cooked on splatter around hot burner. Do not use razor blade tool on the glass surface because it will permanently scratch the glass. I was shocked to see those scratches. A scotch bright does clean burned on food somewhat. The Cerama Bryte that comes with the stove does not clean any better than dish soap. The glass top is different than what was used previously on GE and all other stoves so there is nothing the consumer can do about it.
The glass touch control panel is nice. It makes me think it may not wear out the control unit behind it like the mylar panel did. I like the warming drawer when preparing a large meal and the flexible heating elements.

Still getting accustomed to it

Started out in '96 with earlier convection/cook top. Now upgraded to this in 2015. Getting confused with 2-3 burner settings on one dial. Difficult to read.

baking is very uneven and takes longer then it should

Great Oven

I have had this stove for a while and have no complaints about it. It is fairly easy tho keep clean. The large oven cooks evenly and allows me to cook multiple items at the same time.

Very Happy with Features

I bought this model for the features. Tru Convection, rolling slide-out rack, warming drawer, burners, etc. So far it has lived up to my expectations. The features are easy to understand and use. Cooking is great. My only negative would be the omission of the "bridge" feature on the two lefthand burners, which was offered on the original model.
I would recommend this to a friend!
