I was worried that the 2 day pack was not going to hold as much gear as my everyday pack I was using. I was wrong! I couldn’t be happier with this pack Mystery Ranch. I love how light it is as well.

I've had this pack for a few weeks now, and I've been nothing but happy with its quality and functionality. I'd been using the Scree for a couple of years, so there was some getting used to a new configuration, but I'd been enjoying the bag. Computer access is great, and it holds everything I need for a day, with room to spare.

Bought this for the purpose of an assault pack replacement as I frequently do 10-15 mile hikes with an asip, camelback, and emergency supplies (FSO in light infantry division). My problem was the issued assault pack was killing my back and biting into my shoulders. This pack displaces weight an supports my lower hack and hips perfectly. With 20-30 lbs, i can comfortably walk any distance, and use the pack for tactical movements onto an objective. The pack straps work well to secure items inside if your pack isn’t full to keep weight from jostling around, but also has plenty of space for equipment. Outside has molle as well, and the outside pockets are great for storing food or equipment. I also have a kelty 32 liter that was almost twice as much and while i love the kelty, the mystery ranch 3 zipper system makes it much easier to get things out quickly, and the interior pockets (it has 4) make it easy to find things at night.
My only complaint is I wish this pack had an antenna slot exactly like what is on the 3 day. It does have a zipper on the back left side, but the positioning and the way an asip is made makes it ver difficult to thread an asip antenna into that zipper.

I bought this pack about a month ago and it is awesome. It has a ton of uses from civilian to the field. I have been using to carry my items for work and its great. It easily fits a Macbook and iPad in the padded compartment and still has a ton of room. It is well made and has a ton of different ways to access the items inside the bag.
If you are looking for a versatile low vis backpack that can be used in a variety of situations, this is the pack for you!

Ever since I became a backpack junkie I've been constantly on the fence of getting into MR bags, had been hearing quite a few interesting stories about their packs and bags and I'm finally here. The 2-DAP is the first ever MR bag I've bought in my life and so far I'm genuinely satisfied with the overall design and build quality. Even with the manufacturing of this particular bag being outsourced to overseas, it's still really well-built and totally up MR standards.
The main and the only compartment is quite spacious, the Tri-zip design makes accessing it a real breeze and there's definitely enough zip pockets for loose or small items. The laptop sleeve is a neat addition to this bag for more EDC-oriented utility but so far I've yet to put one in there, it looks rather thinly padded but should be adequate as long as you avoid dropping the bag or tossing it around when there's a Lappy in there. The adjustable Futura frame and yoke shoulder straps are highly ergonomic and makes the bag super comfortable to carry on my back all day long. All things considered this is the best feature I've found on this bag. For me nothing else on a backpack matters more than weight distribution and MR did an excellent job with their ingenious design.
My only complaints are the carry handle which is just a simple nylon strap sewn into the bag and that there's no way to tidy up the excess straps which is scattered all over this bag. The former hasn't been much of an issue for me as the strap for the carry handle is firmly sewn in place and doesn't feel like it's gonna break off any time soon with my current 5-ish kg load. The latter bothered me a lot but it's actually a pretty quick fix with any type of strap keeper you can find, though I still wish MR could make those come with the bag since they're quite cheap and shouldn't jack up the overall price as much.
Although it's advertised as an EDC bag, it's actually rugged enough for outdoor use, which is one of the reasons I picked it up. I'm planning on using it as my primary all-around backpack for school, travel and a wide range of outdoor activities. The 2-DAP so far have been performing admirably for me and hopefully it'll still be going strong for the rest of the time when I need it. MR has truly blown me away with the 2-DAP and now I'm eager to give a shot at their other bags such as the 3-DAP I'm currently saving up for.
All in all, I highly recommend the 2-DAP for both EDC and outdoor use. In reality it's far more versatile than what MR advertises it for.
