S24 Ultra phone, trouble recognizing fingerprint

Since activating the S24 Ultra phone, I have been experiencing issues with the fingerprint scan. Even after turning on the Touch Sensitivity settings, it still has trouble recognizing the fingerprint scan. I regret trading my S23 Ultra for the S24 Ultra, as it seems like the quality is declining. I am considering switching to a different manufacturer. I have been a long-term user of Samsung Galaxy series phones and have always had a good experience. The S24 Ultra is my first bad experience with Galaxy series phones.

Samsung provides a 1-year manufacturer defect warranty that covers both parts and labor costs. Here are some tips to ensure that your fingerprint sensor works effectively:
1. Ensure that you cover the entire sensor with your finger and hold the device in the same way as when you set up the fingerprints.
2. Make sure both the scanner and your fingertip are clean and dry before scanning.
3. Try restarting the phone or tablet and then attempt to use the fingerprint scanner again.
4. Keep your device and apps updated.
5. If needed, remove and then re-add the fingerprints.
