Battery is a joke

The battery life on this phone is pathetic. Until Samsung corrects the battery Situation in this phone I would not recommend this to people who I hate let alone anyone who I like . My wife's iPhone which we bought the same day has about 3 days worth of battery life.. This Samsung ultra 22 barely, barely gets through 9 hours . I would rather talk over 2 tin cans on a piece of string then use an iPhone. And I think I feel the same way about this usekess and disappointing ultra 22.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] use this phone for everything, s pen is more accurate and better than the note10 model. best cell phone camera ive had as well. battery can drain relatively fast when in constant use but that is my only gripe. great phone all in all.

S pen issues

So long story short.... because first review got rejected.
Pen that came with my ultra s22 wasn't compatible. Didn't resolve initial issue and waiting for yet another Pen. This phone is compatible with S PEN PRO not standard S PEN, THE END!!
Very disappointed because I've literally owned every Note series hence my reason for getting to Ultra.
The entire process was HORRIBLE starting with pre-order THAT'S A WHOLE DIFFERENT COMPLAINT.
I typically buy directly from my phone carrier. Decided to go a different route because of the extras offered but it cleanly wasn't worth the hassle.
DO BETTER SAMSUNG, DO BETTER!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fresh Out of Box, Front Face Camera Does Not Work

I tried flipping the camera to front facing after taking a bunch of photos with the rear cameras and it said "Warning Camera failed." and says that every time. I actually was never able to see the front facing camera work. They also apparently further throttled certain activities on the phone after reviews were released. Most expensive phone I've ever purchased and somehow also the worst. Will be requesting a full refund.

Not a flagship screen, scratched and cracked!

I pre-ordered this after hearing about the specs. On paper, it's a beast, daily operations... it's... meh. like any flagship these days.
The problem I have, and have seen from others, is the screen! I noticed a few nicks and scratches after only a short time of use and then I knocked it off the coffee table, in a Samsung case... and it cracked. A two foot drop and it cracked. My son (7) has a cheap Moto that has been abused, not one crack.
Until Samsung gets better glass, I can't recommend the S22 Ultra! If you do buy one GET A GOOD CASE!

Poor Battery

PLEASE PLEASE do something about this battery life. This phone cost too much for the battery not to last a full day without a charge. Plus the color is not RED looks more pink. The pictures are very deceiving..I only got RED because it's my favorite color but am not going through the hassle of changing it. I NEVER do reviews but I had to say something about this..

Look, its not a bad phone, I like the design, looks gorgeous and works great. The problem is battery life, if your a heavy user, this is a 4 hour phone. I shouldn't have to turn off all the features just to get similar battery life to my 3 year old phone. Everything thing on this phone, Camera, screen, s pen, WiFi, internet all work great. Samsung needs to take a year and work on battery capacity and charging speeds. Still on fence about keeping phone, shame because it is a really cool phone.

Worked great until a few weeks ago

I pre-ordered the S22 Ultra the day it launched. I've had Samsung phones since I was a kid (my first Samsung was the N-spire) I had a Note10+ that I loved and was so excited to get my hands on the S22 Ultra. I LOVED it. It was such an upgrade from the Note10+. Until the last week of July. I was asleep at 6:30am and my phone started making a noise I had NEVER heard on any Samsung device EVER. I picked it up, and it was alarming that there was moisture/foreign debris in the charging port. I found that extremely weird because I plugged it in to charge at 10pm the night before and it was fine until 6:30am. I followed the recommended tips to fix it and plugged it back in and it was fine. It happened again later that day. I again followed the tips and it worked for a week with no issues. That problem is still ongoing. I have tried EVERYTHING, industrial air dusters, small little cleaner brushes, a hair dryer on low for 15 minutes and nothing has worked. I cannot cable charge my phone. Thankfully I had a wireless charger from years ago that works with the phone, only, I have to take my Samsung case off EVERY time I want to charge my phone. The positioning on the wireless charger is SUPER picky. If it moves even a hair it will stop charging. This has been the most frustrating experience.
