I have a history of switching between Google and Samsung phones. I recently traded in my google pixel 8 pro for the Samsung ultra 24. The switch was a great one. The Samsung ultra 24 processes faster, the camera is quicker to adjust and take a perfect shot, the feel is more solid and easier to hold, and finally the phone never studders, heats up or fails to respond...unlike the Google 8 pro.
Rather big disappointment with S24 Ultra. The cameras are worse than the S23U. Screen had some issues that needed to be fixed with a firmware update and rummaging around in the settings. The supposed tradeoff is the implementation of "AI" tools. Basically useless, just slapped the AI title on it and called it a full phone upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coming from Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. I was going to keep the Note 20 as there were no issues with it, but Samsung's upgrade deals were too good and I'm guessing that this will be the last year that they give good trade-in deals on the Note. There were a few things I was missing out on with the older phone. The Note no longer received updates other than security. So, it was a version behind on Samsung's UI and I think the version of Android. Samsung has promised years of updates on their new phones. Being a big user of the S Pen, I did not like the rounded screen edges that Samsung used to use so it's nice to have the flat screen. I don't think the Note had all the latest radios for 5G and Wi-Fi, so it was nice to see significant speed increases with the S24 when using 5G and Wi-Fi. With the better processor, the phone is noticeably smoother when scrolling. Cons include the heavier weight, lack of microSD slot, and it is a little thicker and wider than the old Note.
It’s amazing phone at all best camera With the most megapixels on a smartphone and AI processing, Galaxy S24 Ultra sets the industry standard for image quality every time you hit the shutter. What's more, the new ProVisual engine recognizes objects — improving color tone, reducing noise and bringing out detail.
Poor screen, lack of colors, not great camera, incompatible with panorama photos taken on Note 20, good performance, lack of expandable storage

This review is after a month I received thsi phone. S24 ultra is good but the camera clarity was not so good which I purchased. Initially I chatted with samsung support team on this issue and they suggested to reset the camera settings but even after that I found the same issue. And after few repeated reset the issue was resolved. Other then this it's a good phone.
