Everything I expected and more. Don't pay attention to the people giving the S24 ultra bad reviews. There isn't a more capable all-around phone on the market.
To quality pictures, to luxury gaming, to crispy movies, this phone does it all. Doesn't heat up like it's previous versions, in my opinion. I really like the phone I got and I'm still finding out out more and more about what I can do with it.
I received my phone about two weeks ago, and have been enjoying it

you know, originally i was skeptical of buying a flagship phone; i am not someone who needs the amount of features this phone has. I have owned 2 samsungs prior to this i had a galaxy a10e and then upgraded to an a53 if that gives you any indication of the type of caliber of device i'm used to dealing with. the a53 being the single nicest phone i've ever had up until this point. however I can safely say that i made a very good choice. the camera power is obviously top of the line with an incredible free-form editing suite that allows for some utterly insane edits. the battery life is great as always, 5000mAh is great, even better on a phone with wireless charging. the stylus is actually something i use way more often than i was expecting too; i love having a greater sense of control of my screen when normally my thumbs would just speed through everything. now i know what you're all here for: my impressions of galaxy AI. it's best application is the generative edit but even then it's not nearly as forced as samsung makes it seem. every ad you see for the s24 series says "check out the galaxy ai" as if it's something that will be crammed into every action you do but that's not the case, and that's a good thing. there are only 3 things i can really knock this phone for. firstly, while this is more of a niche thing i do miss having a card slot even though i have enough memory to last me for well past this phone's life expectancy. my resoning on that is that once i started using the card slot on my a53 i found it was really useful for file management especially when it comes to creating backups of photos because with the slot i dont have to rely on goolgle photos or some other cloud service to quickly make duplicates. the next thing is colors: again a really stupid complaint but the orange and yellow versions are the nicest colors this comes in and im not sorry about saying that (as an orange version owner trust me when i say there is no render on earth that truly describes just how ****-ing orange this thing is). now if smsung had done another red version like they did for the s23 ultras then for sure you would see me all over that like butter on a biscuit but alas 'tis slim pickings. finally there's the purchasing methods which is more of a fault with samsung than anything but you have 2 options: either full price or you can finance through affirm or klarna. while normally financing would make more sense because most of the time you wind up saving money if you happen to have a steady income because it's these services specifically they implement APR into your financing and you can wind up paying way more than necessary long term which negates the savings of financing. overall it's a great product with an unstoppable level of power. big congrats to samsung for this incredible victory in the electronics market.
