Very disappointed

Last year when I bought the S21 ultra I was surprised on how many quirks and bugs that the phone had. Then this year Samsung said they got all the little crooks out for the S 22 ultra they were just blowing smoke. The phone is very disappointing and Samsung raves about the camera which is actually think my Galaxy 9 plus had a more user-friendly camera than this phone has. I have no extra applications on this phone and still continuously locks up and Bixby is worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my S22 Ultra since about Feb this year. The one and only thing I dislike is the screen cracked from a short fall. For such an expensive phone I would expect a more robust screen.

Best camera experience, but everything else...

Pros 1. Pictures and videos are amazing! My pictures look like a pro! 2. Like the design! Thin, rounded edges look incredible. The screen is the best! Uses the same charger as my Laptop. 3. Love the pen, but don't use it much.
Cons 1. I was expecting the battery life to be longer. I wake up with the phone changed and I have less than half the charge by 11 a.m. (I start my day about 5 or 6 a.m.) 2. Navigation and calling - bugs if you want to be on the phone and use google maps. (I have called support about 5 times and they still can't fix this issue.) 3. Wished the magnet in the back was stronger. I have to use a case with a stronger magnet.

Very solid phone and upgrade from the Note

I had this phone for a few months and I'm pretty satisfied overall. I would prefer that the facial recognition for device unlock to perform a bit better, as I cannot be recognized some of the time. My Iphone I have for work, has a way better working facial recognition for unlocking, even in low light. Compared to my previous Note 10+, the battery on the S22 Ultra isn't bad, though sometimes I observed that the battery drained quicker than others, even after app/processing optimization. I overall enjoy the features, performance and design of the phone.

Concerning the headphone jack, you are able to purchase a USB-C Headphone Jack adapter which lets you connect devices that use a standard 3.5 mm audio plug to your USB-C devices. Nice phone 3 phones with water detection errors. Had to buy a new plug. Didn't work, still got the errors. Will charge with wireless charger. That is not always possible.
