s pen struck inside after 5 months. screen needs to double check for the tiny spot even is a new phone.

In a lot of ways this is a tremendous upgrade from the Note 8 I had been using. Camera is excellent quality as is the display. Most apps run flawlessly. The ones that don't likely haven't been updated by their developers. Built in speaker is better than expected. However there are a couple of things I miss about the old phone that should be features in this one as well. 1. Setting up more than one notification sound. On my old phone I had one sound set for an email, one sound for a text and another for less important notifications. On the new phone I have not discovered a way to do this. Everything is tied to a single notification tone so I can't tell if it can wait or not. 2. The Samsung Health app is still there, but has no way of measuring heart rate, 02%, or stress without spending more money for a Galaxy watch. The Note 8 had a built in sensor on the back to measure these things. 3. Not really happy that you've dropped the physical headphone jack in favor of wireless. I realize there are good reasons for this, but it's just another thing I had to invest $ in to use the new phone. You should probably make it more clear in the online specs that there is no headphone jack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was leery about switching to a Samsung Galaxy phone but so far I have not been disappointed. I use my phone mostly for texting, phone calls, social media, web browsing, and searches. I also use it for banking, bill paying, budgeting, emails, photography, grocery shopping, and other shopping, gaming, and streaming apps. So far everything I have used it for has worked just fine. Sometimes I have trouble with Google Assistance, but most of the time it works just fine. Learning a new phone system has been frustrating, but Samsung has made it fairly easy. I love the camera, especially for nighttime sky photography. I have got some amazing pictures of the moon and stars. I love the diagnostic testing that you can do on your phone. I do wish there were better and louder ringtones, but at least there is a variety to choose from. I know I can download the ones I want, but that requires another app; I already have too many on my phone. The battery doesn't seem to last as long as I would like. Overall though I have not been disappointed in switching to my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G phone. I'm sure in the future when I need a new phone I will continue to stay with Samsung.

Overheat

I bought a S22 ultra 512 GB, I was looking forward to this phone. However I realized that the battery life time was bad. In addition, when I was playing some games this phone started to overheat, this one had like 45 degrees of temperature. I' really desappointed about this phone. Finally I had to return this S22 ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my S9. Hate this 22 ultra. It is worse than any "smart" phone I have ever used. It has absolutely nothing I wanted or use. I dont care for gaming or streaming or 60 different cameras. I would love to be able to draw my pictures or words and send as a message as I created it. This series seems to want to change everything I say and sometimes just sits and cycles through all the -Home- main screens while I'm not even touching the phone. When my music is playing, while connected to bluetooth devices (my car, headphones) the music stops if the screen goes blank. Never saw anything like this with any other of my Samsung devices. I have always used Samsung but the size of this device alone is a disgrace. Doesn't fit anywhere. The belt clip holder i purchased to assist with this issue is already broken and that's with extreme gentle use as it is clipped to my car vent and never moves. Clipping the phone in, simply snapped the clip on the back. I have complained about this device and all of its issues since day one. My s9 came to an end of life cycle and after using it for 4 years without a problem seriously increases my hatred fir this 22 ultra

I just got this phone today. It was working fine on the march update. Soon as I updated it to the April update its SUPER glitchy. All my apps are glitchy even after updating them. The Camera is a nightmare due to crashing and won't focus on what I need it to. The battery just got bad too. I charged it hours ago to 100%, after updating and then updating my apps, it's reading 29% already and it hasn't been 5 hours. I've been loyal to Samsung for years but this is not good. I have now factory reset the phone twice and wiped the cache partition and nothing has changed. I can deal with the fold 3 having bad battery and some other issues which is why I was trading it in for this. I'll keep the fold and return the ultra. My friend warned me not to get it and I should have listened.

I tried connecting my new s22 ultra to my stereo n the garage through the aux cord no where to plug it into, I'm always looking at my storage capacity because it seems to fill up by itself, through updates and what have you. I wouldn't buy this again. It doesnt fit my needs. I prefer my note9

Love this Phone

I'm not trying to negate the bad exepriences some users are having, but I have not experienced one bad thing with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Prior to this I was using a Pixel 6 Pro and had so much bugs with the software that I got rid of it and went with this. Prior to that I've had a Oneplus 7 Pro, which was probably my favorite phone of all time before this one. My point is, I'm not tied to a specific brand. I will use a phone and give credit to where credit is deserved. I love this phone so far and has quickly become my favorite phone after 1 week of use.
