Too many problems!

I have had this phone for 5 months. I absolutely dislike it. I'd rather have my S10 back! Problems: frozen screen, inability to reatart phone, probs w bluetooth, probs relieving messages, faded lock screen & freezes the phone. Cant restart with button & when you can, you cant hit the restart button as the screen just closes. Issues with battery/charging...i wish it was just a lemon, but others have had these issues too. And the health ck says its fine. All updates done. I wish i could give it back & get another type. Like the Note20.

We appreciate you taking the time to review the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to innovate and improve on the design and functionality of our products. There is another way to switch off your device besides the side buttons. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Swipe down a second time and press the ‘power’ icon in the top right corner next to the search icon. However, you can also go into Settings> Advanced features>Side Key and from there you are able to change the side key from Wake Bixby to Power off menu. Right below that is also a guide on How to power off your phone.
I've attached some links that should help with the connectivity, battery, and your device freezing and restarting. Also, it sounds as if your device is still under warranty, so I've added the link for them as well. Please reach out to them, and or our warranty department as needed. very poor performance with scrolling
Poor camera stability (phone restarts sometimes while in camera app}
Inconsistent fps during video calls for no reason. unless you reset camera by hitting software flip button or wide angle button. same bug as s21u.
jittery scrolling. The march update did not resolve any of my complaints.
The phone has been on january firmware since just about 2 days ago which is pretty crazy.
I honestly couldn't see myself recommending this product to anyone.
I feel like a beta tester and this not the experience i wanted at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery is not that great

I got this when it was first release. 1 Major complaint is the battery. It gets hot pretty quick, especially living in a hot area during the summer. The battery is advertised as 5,000mAh, but the design capacity is 4,855mAh. The estimated capacity started at 4,780mAh and 3 months later it's 4,635mAh. Other negative areas, Stylus slot is on the left side, no Ext SD card slot, and no notification light. Disappointed.

Worst phone ever - trust me!

I've had EVERY Samsung Galaxy/Note. "Upgraded" from Note 20 Ultra to this S22 Ultra (T-Mobile). It won't recognize the SIM, it won't register with the network, it doesn't recognize the stylus and it basically isn't dependable for anything. I have to put it into AIRPLANE MODE and then back to be able to make a phone call. T-Mobile is stumped. Samsung knows this phone series has a problem and so far hasn't addressed the various issues. Avoid. If you don't believe me, Google "Samsung S22 Ultra failure to register on network" before you even think about purchasing.

I just bought this phone a few weeks ago I thought for sure that taking a photo of the moon with my phone was a joke. I just took the photo and WOW I really can get an amazing photo of the moon with this phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What was I thinking?

"Upgraded" to S22 Ultra 3 months ago after enjoying Samsung platform for many years. Absolutely loved my S10 and I should have just stayed there. Have had nothing but issues with this phone. It locks up constantly while on internet and it doesn't seem to have as good of an antenna as the S10. I have a ranch that is offgrid and with S10 had no issues getting internet... But S22 Ultra is all over the place. Not sure if it's because it's a 5G phone and there is no 5G around ranch and it is having to go to 4G? Doesn't make since at all. Only reason I gave 2 stars is the camera, thats it. Save your money!

Great note replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love that the Note series didn't go away completely. I use the pen very often in my job. The excellent specs and cameras make this phone work well for me. I upgraded from the Note 10+, and I am very happy I did, a year in and this phone is still head of the class.

Glitchy phone

After 5 days of buying this phone I did the software update and it suddenly turned off and I tried multiple times to turn on but doesn't work, returning this product. Glad i did not formated my old phone s20 and not sended for tradeIn. It also have issues with other apps did not able to install. It just camera is very good. Very disappointed that Samsung have that glictchy phone and paying for a grand.
