Do not recommend this bike, buy anything else but

Frame break within weeks . My weight is just 70 kg and frame pipe under seat bends. Motor makes sound. Do not spend 500 on this.

Family-Friendly E-Bike with 1 Ongoing Concern

My family has really enjoyed riding this e-bike, and we’re even considering buying a second one. Overall, it’s been a fun bike for casual rides around the neighborhood.
The first assembly took quite a while because some parts and steps weren’t included in the manual. After putting it together, we noticed a strange squeaking noise during our first ride. We returned it to Best Buy, and they replaced it right away, which we appreciated.
Assembling the replacement bike was much quicker since we were already familiar with the process. However, after just two days of regular use, the same squeaking noise started to appear.
We’re not bike experts, and since we only use it for short recreational rides, the noise doesn’t bother us enough to stop using it. However, if you’re looking for an e-bike for daily commuting or frequent long-distance use, you may want to consider a different model with better long-term reliability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lasted 5 months breaks failed

Had this bike for 5 months survived a flat tire but ultimately what did it in was the breaks failed and non replaceable which is frustrating because the bike was rather good for the price.

Issues with brakes

Have it for 2 years. Brakes were an issue from.the begining. Wearing out very fast. Needs to tune the brakes up twice already this summer. Each time 50 cost ( and that's cheap) would not recommend.

I bought two bikes from Best Buy—one directly from the store and the other on sale through the Best Buy website. Unfortunately, the first bike I bought was stolen, but it was excellent and worked perfectly.
The second bike I ordered from the website had a damaged frame, so I had to return it. Then you sent me another replacement, but this one has a faulty battery and electrical issues.
Because of these experiences, I no longer trust the Best Buy website, and I don’t plan to buy anything from it again.

Best Bang for Buck Starter Ebike

I purchased this ebike on sale, and have had it for about 6 months now. I have ridden quite a few different types of ebikes, ranging from those that are much more expensive; however, I have two of these ebikes to commute in my town and to ride around with my girlfriend. Overall, our experience has been very positive - I overall found this to be a particularly good ebike for anyone living somewhere relatively flat, with shorter trips.
Pros:
- Good power assist, can easily go up to ~32 km/h without much effort
- Quite nice display, 4 power assist modes, sports/eco mode - nice options to have
- Disc brakes, front and rear, work well enough for this tier of ebike
- Compact and easy to store
- Not especially heavy or cumbersome
- Spring seat is a nice addition, given the lack of suspension
- Assembly is realtively straight forward
- bike rack works well for a storage bag, ect.
- headlight and taillight/brake light
- Good power assist, can easily go up to ~32 km/h without much effort
- Quite nice display, 4 power assist modes, sports/eco mode - nice options to have
- Disc brakes, front and rear, work well enough for this tier of ebike

Cons:
- Ghost peddling happens a lot, even really at speeds above 10-15 km/h
- No gear selector
- Lack of documentation, the maintenance manual does not tell you much, and there is a lack of information online.
- The folding mechanism can possibly get loose over time. I did need to retighten it on my bike
- Power assist isn't amazing on hills
- The seat post is too short for me, I had to buy a longer seat post.
- The headlight works well for others to see you, but does not provide very good lighting when riding in low light

Despite the cons, I would give this bike a 4/5 - as it does its job quite well at a good price. If you are using it in an area that's relatively flat, it makes trips quite short. I recommend giving the bike a check over every 5 or so rides to ensure nothing has come loose. I think it makes a good bike for commutes or for a starter ebike.
