I bought this to replace the battery in my wife's unit since it failed after only 18 months. Kinda disappointed about that but it's a battery and these things happen. Having a battery backup with surge protection is a must with our computer gear since we both rely on them for work and school (and play!). Hopefully, this new battery will go the full 3 years before needing replacement. I'm happy overall with the product.

I called APC to be sure I ordered the correct battery. This was easy to order, delivered quickly enough after it was available, fit perfectly, and is working as expected. If I had not dropped the old one on my foot, this would have been perfect. I do NOT recommend doing that!

Ordering was easy and the replacement arrived quickly. Swapping battery packs was straightforward and effortless. I was hoping for a similarly quick-turn in recycling the used pack, but I see that this is done through a third party. I understand that there is no charge for this service. Just a little more paperwork.
