A bit difficult to reconnect the replacement battery. Longer wires on the battery would help. Otherwise, everything is fine. The reusable packaging and list of disposal locations in my vicinity was great help.

The fit is tight and cables short, but put it on a tabletop and all will go well. UPS had no issues with finding the new battery. Having the prepaid label to dispose of the old battery made things tidy.

The basic ups device has years of life yet. Being able to replace the failed battery easily and affordably is the perfect solution to battery aging. I've replaced UPS batteries before and expect to do it again as needed.

This was the tenth replacement in my old APC Smart UPS 620 (but only the second one from APC) since 2000. Historically, I've gone from one to three years of life before failure, but I'm starting to believe the off-brand, over the counter replacements are the reason for the short life spans.

I purchased this for an old APC model BK650MC. I made sure the battery was securely connected inside, tried to charge it without unit on. When I turn the unit on, it just beeps as if the battery is dead.
