I purchased a replacement battery and it fit and worked the first time. Of course that is what I expected, but there are plenty of cheaper Chinese options that might not have. The returns website is a little tricky, but if you read it carefully and don't just click, it works just fine
Pros: Energy Efficient, Easy to Perform Maintenance, Ease of Management, High Quality, Good Vendor Support, High Confidence Level in 24/7 Uptime
APC replacement batteries outperform other non-APC replacement batteries and are worth the additional cost to purchase them. I’ve even had some APC batteries last up to six (6) years!
Ordering the battery and installing were easy! The website makes it easy to find the correct replacement for your unit and the shipping was fast. The install instructions were easy to follow.
Pros: Easy to Perform Maintenance, High Quality, Fast, Good Vendor Support
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to replace old battery - well designed. Be cautious when UPS message Lo.1 - you probably still have 6 or more months left on the battery.

Bad batteries

Have the error code L. 02 on my UPS after a month of buying these batteries. Maybe it is the UPS, not certain. But the UPS sends power through, so not sending anything back since I already threw away the packaging.

The L.02 error means that the internal battery from the UPS has ended its life or exceeded and which means possibly needs replacement based on the age. However, once the battery has been replaced, it will need to configure the UPS to detect a new battery has been installed. To be able to do this, you need to enter Configuration mode by holding the MUTE and MENU button for two seconds until the system emits short beep and display shows UPS is in Configuration mode. MENU button cycle the display of the available options and look for Battery Replaced option and set the code to rb.1 to indicate a new battery has been installed and it will automatically calculate the next replacement battery date.
