Change original scent back!

Tide pods has become my favorite laundry detergent to use. Only thing I ask is for Tide to change the original scent back as it is the main one I use! Thanks tide!

It's a great way to start teaching your kids to do their own laundry. It's quick and you don't have to worry about them using to much detergent! No messes.

Absolutely hate the new “original” scent

Please don’t tell me to use a liquid, and please declare whether you will ever make a good pod again, so we know where we stand and whether we should move on.

Change in smell

This product now smells like cheap perfume. Had to wash clothes twice to get stench out. At least tell the consume before you change it.

Formula changed for the worse

I’m so disappointed that Tide changed its formula. This new formula is so strong and perfumy I had to return it. I will have to look elsewhere for a new detergent.

Ditch the plastic

I switched to pods so I would not throw out the jugs. I hope that P&G is considering switching to a cardboard package.

We agree we must be part of the solution to reduce plastic waste. Today nearly 90% of our packaging is recyclable; our newly announced goals call for packaging that is 100% recyclable or reusable by 2030. It may be helpful to know that the Tide PODS™ tubs are already recyclable! Please ensure that your area's recycling programs support the recycling of this type of container, though, the lid component is recyclable only in the few communities that have recycling programs for its material. However, that is not enough. That’s why we are partnering with groups like the TerraCycle, Trash Free Seas Alliance and others to find additional solutions. What happened?

Bought a couple new "original" scent bottles. I must say WHAT HAPPENED? I had to return them and bought another brand. Terrible odor of the new scent. You lost a reliable customer.

We apologize for any confusion, we did change the scent of our Tide Original. We do have good news, however; the scent you came to know and love is still available!
