Highly reliable UPS

I had since January 2013 and it has worked flawlessly. I have my TV, component and other devices connected to it and it has protected them from several power outages. It also blends perfectly with the tv furniture.

I Have owned a number of battery backups for my computers starting in 1982 with my Apple II. My TrippLite Smart1000LCD is by far the best battery backup I have ever owned. It simply sits beside my computer desk and works. I have had my power go out quite a bit in the last year due to nearby construction work. My TrippLite has responded on each occassion with nary a blip. The only thing I can about the device is simply, it works as advertised, it is the best you can buy

When I got an email saying, "You have a Tripp-Lite 1000LCD. Tell us what you think." I said to myself, oh that's right, I do have one. What do I think about it? That's the thing. I don't think about it. Day after day, month after month; brownouts, blackouts, line conditioning. It just works. I don't think about it. I don't worry about it. That's what I paid for. That's what it does. I can't think of a higher recommendation.

Very happy with this product, to the point that all 35 of our computers have their own including the monitors and printers plugged in. When I had an issue I called customer service thinking the product warranty had expired and they sent me out a replacement battery with 2 days it arrive! Excellent customer service and will continue to buy their products, as we have not had any issues with any of them.

The best UPS and long lasting

We've had our's for nearly 5 years of continuous service in an area that experiences frequent power outages in the winter. No problems with it and it just works. We're still on the original battery. The fron USB charger port is very handy. However, it appears the newer models have omitted it. Cheers!

This is a well polished product! From the moment I opened the package I was impressed. It was well packaged like they care about their product. The design is sleek and no nonsense. The integration with the poweralert local software is seemless. The LCD screen is slick and visually appealing along with being useful. I like the brightness control on the screen too. The buttons also make sense for someone that is not an electrician. There are two buttons and clearly labeled in plain terms. One marked power and the other a speaker with a line through it. The plugs in the back are well laid out and clearly labeled as well. Thank you for making it easy TrippLite!
