WAY BETTER THAN THAT APC GARBAGE. I Love it. I have 5 of them. they last so long . Good for island use, to protect my items. And I just got stepped it up and got me 2 new OMNI 1500LCDT UPS SYSTEMS.

Worked during outage and then failed!

The Smart LCD 1000VA worked great until we finally had a power outage. The power went out and the UPS worked fine. However, after the power came back on the unit failed. I tried another battery but the actual unit must have taken a hit. I guess it did what is supposed to but I don't think it should have failed after 1 simple power outage.

NEVER HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WE HAVE OVER 30 OF THEM IN USE AT OUR JOB SIGHT HERE IN PA ALONE. GREAT PRODUCT AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. THIS IS THE ONLY TYPE OF UPS BATTERY BACKUP THAT WE USE.

I have now had my unit for almost 2 years and we have encountered about a dozen power issues. although each of these were only seconds in length, my desktop, monitors and other devices attached remained on and fully function without a hitch. The only downside is that the cord is only 6 feet long and i have several other areas in my office that i would like to put this unit into production but the outlets are more like 20 feet away and extension cords are not allowed.
