Good Service

I received a notice when the battery was near the end of it's service life. I ordered the replacement and installed the new battery within a few days, with no loss of service. I was able to recycle the old battery with a return postage. A value to anyone that needs continuity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Replacement

I have been an APC customer for several years. In fact I think this is my third Smart UPS unit, although this time I ordered a replacement battery pack for the unit I have. Instructions were included about removing/ installing the new one and it was a breeze.
Biggest problem I had was finding out how to return my existing battery. This information used to be a lot easier to find or had been shipped with my new unit. That is probably my only issue...need to make it easier for customers to find out how to recycle their old batteries. This is very important.

I've had a BR1500LCDI backup for several years, and it recently started having the fan running a lot and making buzzing noises. It turns out the original battery was still in the backup after 6 years, with an expected lifespan of 3. Replaced the battery in about 5 minutes and the UPS is working as normal. I hope next time I'll remember to change it before it starts to fail!

Great customer service and products. Ordered a battery, installed, and sent old battery back. Will stay with the professionals when I need a battery replacement or new products.

Poor Longevity

Battery use life was only 1.8 years unlike reported longevity of 2 to 3 years.

I had pretty much the same experience as reviewer Joe. New battery pack, fully charged, 155 watt load on the UPS, LESS THAN 2 MINUTES backup time available from the new battery...not even enough time to complete a proper computer shutdown Unacceptable. Also, don't be misled about options to return your old battery for proper disposal. You are on your own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My order was completed on-line and the product was shipped immediately and received earlier than I thought it would. The batteries were inserted into a APC 1500 and it worked fine

I ordered a replacement battery, it was in stock and I received it within days. Installation took about 3 minutes. And the best surprise was the prepaid shipping so I could recycle the battery! Great job APC! Thanks.
