My dad gifted me this and it's made it so much easier for me to listen to music in the shower! The speaker fits within the shower head so I can hear the music perfectly, the buttons allow you to reach up to navigate your playlist without having to get out of the shower, and is easily removed to charge. The shower head itself makes the water come out more gently than my regular shower head, so it does take a bit longer to rinse my thick hair but I love this product overall and use it every time I shower.

Nice shower head; OK speaker

The shower head is a slick design and looks really nice.
The speaker has several issues:
1) No EQ! This speaker is VERY bass-heavy. It's great to have bass, but there's no way to adjust. This is problematic in the shower because for mids and trebles to be audible over the shower (which is mid to treble range) you have to turn the volume up which results in really loud bass.
2) Proprietary dock. This is really annoying because if you want to bring the speaker somewhere, which is a major plus of this speaker, you have to bring the dock with you. Why isn't this a USB-C dock with a waterproof silicone cover on the charging port?
3) No case for the speaker for transporting (minor issue)

Not worth the buy! Battery won't last!

I loved this item when I first made the purchase! Great concept and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to music in the shower. Unfortunately, the life of the battery is shortlived and will last just long enough to end the warranty. Kohler doesn't offer repairs to the speaker it's self. And their only solution they offer is to sell an entire new shower head at their factory cost which is 50% more than other big brand online retailers. Great item if don't mind purchasing a new one every 1.5 years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
