Biggest waste of money possible. wish there was negative ratings possible, it doesn't even deserve a star. If you have any wrinkles in the bottom of your pool DO NOT BUY this thing. It will get stuck and not cover the whole pool. The filter is great actually captures algae, but if if you have enough debris for it to be visible it will be enough to fill the filter quickly and then it just cant go anymore. So frequent cleaning of the filter. It does not climb the sides as advertised. You have to baby sit this thing to try to encourage it to cover the pool. It randomly stops in the middle of the pool and changes direction, so then the propulsion just scatters and stirs up the remaining debris, so that if it does get to what was the dirty area all the dirt is floating around in the water and doesn't get vacuumed. Its actually very good at stirring up the dirt and not vacuuming your pool. Awful, stupidest thing I have ever bought.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best accessory I ever bought!

I bought this 2 years ago, its works great and have been keeping my pool ground clean, you need a strong pump (I have an intex krystal clear sand filter 3000 gph), but people don't do their research before buying, and that's why they say it doesn't work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing! Don't buy this vacuum!

We've had to get this vacuum replaced three times. Each of the three vacuums has given us the the same issues. The vacuum moves in the pool when we first get it and after a few uses it stops moving. The gear module locks into one position. Once it does this the vacuum will not move. This vacuum not worth your money or time to purchase and it's just a huge headache. I have decided that I will be buying a completely different brand moving forward. Intex has lost my business.

Has not worked at all, the micro screen is too large to get a thread going on the threaded strainer connector. Tried everything, the vacuum won't move at all.

The new vacuum is a little different than the old one. The only thing is our hold hose to run the vacuum has the twisting breaks in it and the new one is a solid hose. It seems to tangle more than the old one die. otherwise I love this vacuum, it helps so much with pool maintenance. purchase was easy and shipping time was fast.
