NO SKIMMER?????

No skimmer? What’s next, no bottom to the pool and judge extra for the sides are?
We have purchased one of your pools almost every year or two for the past 12–15 years. We have nowhere to store them indoors when we take them down so we have to keep them in the garage. The Arizona heat & Sun is brutal so the thin plastic liners the pool is made out of becomes brittle and starts to leak after two or sometimes three years and it’s not worth taking down and putting back up again so we get them yearly.
This year, for the first time, we got the 18 foot pool as opposed to the 16 foot.
HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY NO SKIMMER BASKET ON A POOL? EVERY OTHER POOL HAD ONE SO I CAN ONLY GUESS THAT IT IS A WAY TO CUT COST. This will be a deciding factor for purchasing a more permanent above ground pool rather than this ridiculous reduction in quality. I can’t even say it’s a lack of amenities because they should absolutely be a required/essential piece of equipment. Someone made a very, very poor decision with this. I would have scored the quality as a three and the value as a five below, but with no skimmer – I can’t do that.

Not what I had bargained for!

This pool s not as good as the one that I was replacing. I owned an 18’ Bestway pool in the past and it was getting pretty tired. I decided to replace it with a brand new one.
Unfortunately, nothing from the old pool would hook up to the new one.
Having two hoses for discharge from the pool makes no sense whatsoever. In fact this combination works very poorly. There is no way to vacuum the pool with this arrangement. 😡
Secondly, the hoses that are supplied with this pool only last about a year and a half in the direct sun. They are CRAP!!!
Yes this pool is cheap, but you really get what you pay for here. 😖
Worse is that the wall lining seems much more thin than the older pool we had.
I am not impressed by the look of “cheaping out” on the part of Bestway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy built and well made

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the quality of your pools. I bought my pool the end of the season in 2023. I have always owned another brand of pool but decided to give yours a chance. I am so glad I did! We used is all summer last year and when we were taking it down last fall, we got hit with 50-60 mile an hour straight line wind. The pool only had about 3 feet of water left in it, and it took a real beating from the winds. The fantastic part of it was that it withstood the test. Only one of the cross bars broke and two of the support bars bent. I will never own anything but a Bestway Pool again. It absolutely lives up to my expectations and more! I would suggest this brand to anyone looking for a pool that is durable and made from sturdy materials. My other pools all had plastic supports and braces. The Bestway had steel supports and braces. I would stand by my recommendations to this pool for every. Thank you for making such a great product!!!

Pump failed in less than a week

Pool is oh not as good & stable as expected.
Pump failure in kess than a month. Try b g to contact anyone is pure hell
(( Index people but intex they fix your product quickly. You have a number on product it comes with a starter kit. Intex has pride with thier pools.))Still no pump ni update uts roaming g the world we will terurn pool

Love the pool that keeps us cool in this heat! The only problem is that the filter leaks constantly and all the time. For the value tot purchasing something so large and get home to find out that something isn’t working correctly is very disappointing. Today I’m having to pull it apart and figure out what can be done with. Read about a hairline crack in the tank I’m praying that is not that

i bought this pool and had it in dry storage i took it out of the box a set it up was full of holes warenty wont cover it because it was to long NEVER EVEN GOT TO SWIM IN IT AT ALL WITH MY GRAND KID I BOUGHT THIS POOL EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MORE EXPENCIVE THEN OTHER

Good liner

I bought a 16 x 48 steel max pro pool last year but didnt setup until this year. I must say that i have thoroully enjoyed it. The only issue ive had is one of the pipes that goes from the pool to the pump had a hairline crack but some flex seal tape took care of that. I do wish the ladder was wider. Also i bought a cover for ut when i ordered the pool and it doesnt fit. I say alot of revuews saying that but i figured i would try it and sure enough it doesnt fit. But all in all a good investment. We will see how long it last.
