Disappointing performance

Bought three in different sizes earlier this year. I like the design and the size, but they are way too slow for transferring large amounts of data. I have other external USB flash drives that work well, but every time I use these, I find myself checking Activity Monitor on my Mac and the USB ports to see if something is preventing them from working properly. There isn't anything; they just become very slow at writing data. Reading is ok at 100 - 200 MB/s but write speed drops to < 5MB/s when writing more than a few megabytes.

I have used Kingston usb drives. This one is the WORST. Ultra slow read and write speeds. I do not recommend!!!

I bought the Kingston flash drive after being disappointed with others that worked well but soon became corrupted. This flash drive is reliable and I’m confident after using it that my important data is saved. I purchased 3 of them. It’s a great to feeling of relief to know that my work is secure.
