High electric bill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was really looking forward to using this for my husband who is handicap. After getting it all installed and wired (yes it has to be on it's on circuit) which we paid to have done.. our electric bills have almost doubled. We have the spa covered and adjusted per specifications as to keep unit "energy efficient" however, it isn't as efficient as we had hoped. Especially because we are on a fixed income. So it is really costing us to keep it running. Unit looks nice and and large enough to fit 2 people comfortable and probably up to 4 . Not sure how often we will use though because of costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
