Roku outdoor camera

After many purchases over the past 7 years I bought maybe 6 cameras for home security (both indoor and out). This one is definitely the best in terms of pricewise,clearness,ease of installation,and more. Still learning after 3 months ,but I don't regret my choice one bit.

Camera has an excellent picture and sound, For the price I paid for, it performs way beyond, on what I had expected, I recommend this camera for family and friends

My Roku camera

I bought my first ever Roku outside security camera because I have a Roku TV too. And because my roommate And I are both disabled. It's a great addition to our home letting us know right away if someone is at the door or we have a package delivered or a pet is at the door

I purchased 2 of these for my home. The video is clear and I can also see it on my TV. The camera price was wonderful compared to the other name brands and the monthly subscription price is extremely reasonable. Told a friend about them so they purchased a wireless one and absolutely love it as well

Can't watch videos on the app without a subscript.

Camera is alright, but the fact I can put an SD card in there but can't watch teh video without a subscription...is a deal breaker. I literally will store these in a box unless someone needs one, but not for security purposes.
Also, need to send it back to repair or replacement? Gonna cost you. They won't pay for you to ship it to them. I'm replacing one that won't scan the QR code. I'd rather have a refund but I'm outside of that window.
DO NOT BUY, go get a Relink or another brand that doesn't require a subscription to watch video from a memory card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to share that, while a continuous recording must be viewed on your computer, if you have a Roku Outdoor Camera SE, you can view a scheduled recording directly in the smart home app. All MicroSD features are outlined here: https://support.roku.com/article/7875140351383.
