Great outdoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera has been a great addition to our home. The motion and sound detection is great and pretty advanced for such a reasonable price. The subscription adds a lot of functionality that takes the camera from good to great. From checking on package deliveries to viewing wildlife at night, this camera catches it all.

It is so nice to be able to see when someone is coming down the driveway and to know who it is before they get to the house. My only issue was I had a hard time getting it to stay in place it kept falling off the magnet was not strong enough. But once we used permanent solutions no more issues.

Ring vs Roku

We have been Ring users since 2015, with our first purchase being a Ring video doorbell. I was very pleased with my Ring doorbell and over the years have purchased several Ring brand doorbells and cameras...also gifting them to my adult children. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to purchase the Ring Outdoor Wired cameras at a much lower price than the Ring brand. Since I loved my RokuTV so much more than the FireTV, I decided to try the Roku Cameras.
Over the past few months, I have compared the Roku and Ring side by side. My husband and I are over 65 and we have more difficulty with the Ring apps.. The Roku apps are much more user friendly. The Roku cameras have a much better video quality than the Ring. We are able to view the cameras on our Roku TV. If we hear outside noise or get motion alerts we can easily check the cameras without having to go outside to check. We live in a rural area, so this makes us and our adult children feel more at ease about our safety. I now own 6 Roku cameras (4 wired and 2 battery operated with solar panel) and I hope to replace my video doorbell with a Roku in the future.
Unfortunately, I had just paid for my yearly subscription to Ring before trying the Roku, so I don't have the Roku subscription plan, I do hope to try it in the future after I am able to replace the video doorbell. After I compare the subscription plans, I will review those also. I don't see an option to upload video here or I could show you the difference in the two videos side by side. I hope this helps anyone who is considering a Roku purchase.
Buy Roku...my regret is not trying Roku before I purchased so many of other brands.

Works like it should

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wired camera was easy to setup with pretty clear instructions. You have to download the application to install and use. The app has many features that I haven't quite explored yet. My main upset is that you have to pay a subscription in order to record to the cloud and for motion sensing.

2 Way Audio

I am with the picture, but the 2 way audio doesn't work to well. I can hear people talking, but when I talk through the audio, it can't be heard and is very low. I even adjusted the volume, and it was still was poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
