Amazing outdoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to install this on the back of our house. At first we were a bit confused but the instructions are super easy and clear. The quality of the camera is amazing even when it’s windy and the sun is shining. The motion detection sometimes alerts you to simple things like leaves or trees moving however it always alerts when someone is detected. Seems to be super durable.

Great camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed the Roku Outdoor Wired Camera, and I’m very happy with it so far. The picture quality is clear both during the day and at night, and I like how wide the field of view is—I can easily see my driveway and part of the yard. The setup was simple, and the included 12.5 ft power adapter gave me enough flexibility for installation. The Roku app makes it easy to check in from my phone, and the live feed loads quickly. Overall, it feels reliable, and I like knowing I can keep an eye on the outside of my home whenever I need to.

Incredibly Easy Set Up & Excellent Video Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW, I must say I am impressed with this camera for a few reasons. 1. The ease of setting up this camera is no joke. Two steps. Download the app and create an account and then scan the QR code and then connect it to your home WiFi. That’s it - It’s good to go. 2. The app is incredibly simple to use and while there are a few customizable options, it’s pretty straightforward. I like how Roku had simplicity in mind as this caters to a wide range of customers that may not be as tech savy, especially older ones. While this is the outdoor version, I did experiment with it in the home to test out the features and it would work just as well indoors. I think what makes it an outdoor version is the mounting plate to give you that option. As you can see in my screen shots, the camera can distinguish a person vs a pet when an alert is detected. The alerts go straight to my phone and pops up immediately with a ring. These events are also recorded to review. If the alerts get too annoying they can be shut off. The video quality is extremely clear. This is a fantastic camera at a very reasonable price point and a much needed upgrade to our old security cameras from 2018. It is very basic with excellent quality and would reccomend for anyone who may not be extremely tech savy. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Roku!

Connectivity is great, resolution surprisingly good even at night, micro sd card slot is nice feature. Liked it so much I bought another just days later.

Captures alot on camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used a security camera before so not quite sure what to expect but this Roku camera was pretty good. The setup out of the box was fairly easy, and I was able to put in a spot in my backyard where I have other wired lights. Picture quality is good and you can see a lot from left to right. Works in the rain as well. Wish it was wireless though so that I can put in other places.

Amazing camera with great night vision and motion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THANK YOU ROKU for helping me catch the creature getting into my trashcan and shredding the bags for MONTHS! I was absolutely at my wits end, and then I got this nifty little camera. It is so cheap at only 50 bucks. I plugged it in next to our grill, aimed it at the trashcan, and literally night one finally had answers! The app is amazing and all you have to do is set it to notify you with motion alerts. When I woke up in the morning, it had a notification saying there had been a pet caught on camera – I checked it out and saw this raccoon sneaking into my trashcan! I finally have answers. Absolutely love this camera and check out how good the night vision looks!!!
