Love that you can just plug it into any computer without having to download a driver. I have downsized the amount of paperwork in my file cabinet considerably by using this scanner. It was so easy to use, basically just plug it in and start scanning. I also like that no matter what way you scan the document, the scanner rotates it so that the writing is right side up and it automatically deletes the blank pages. The only problem I had was scanning really long receipts. It would stop before the end of the receipt and say there was a jam, but I learned that if I just fold the receipt in half then it will go through and scan both sides so that I get the whole thing in one scan. I have the original P-215 so maybe this issue has already been fixed in the P-215II. The card reader slot is a nice bonus too!

This scanner is fantastic. My only problem with it and why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I try to can a long receipt, it stops scanning it towards the end and says it's a paper jam. That's the only thing I would change. Otherwise it scans documents great and they are very legible. They can be scanned in black and white or in color. It's very easy to use and doesn't take up much space.

The other one works great but it doesn't feed automatically and doesn't do 2-sided scan. This one is small enough to take with me, feeds the docs automatically, and scans front and back. The speed is reasonably fast, too.

It only worked once

I bought this scanner a few months ago and it worked great... once. Since then I haven't been able to get it to work. There seems to be a problem with the driver, my laptop won't pick up that the scanner is there. I have downloaded the most recent driver, uninstalled, installed, to no avail. Too bad it seemed like a nice scanner when it worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product appears to not be compatible with Windows 10. I have had three so far, shame to not be able to use it, brand new, I will sell it to someone cheap
