cartridges are leaving horizontal lines on paper

I'm extremely frustrated with the Magenta and Cyan cartridges. I have returned 3 cartridges now that worked until they were about 1/3 to 1/2 full. Then I started getting horizontal lines going up and down the right and left edges of the printed pages. HP replaced the printer as well and still I am having issues. I am also getting shadows when I use the black ink. I will not recommend the Laser jet m276 to anyone until I get this problem fixed. Total waste of money.

half filled cartridge

Cartridges that come with the printer have less coloring than one that you buy later, supposed. When I order the cartridges from all over the eastern part of the country. I have gotten only 500 prints out of some of the colored cartridges. Think I'm getting some of the original cartridges that come with the printer.

No way to return a bad cartridge

The printer and toner have been reliable for several years, but when I had a toner cartridge go bad after only a couple months of use (perhaps 5% of the toner) there was no way to return/exchange. HP support was a bot, or based on the serial number of my printer which is out of warranty so there was no way to get support based on the failed cartridge and no way to talk to a human about it.

If you feel that it stopped printing because of a defect, you have the option to see about returning it. Simple instructions for that can be found at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges

The toner cartridges have a good warranty. There is no time limit, but the cartridge can't be low. If it is past time for the HP Store purchases warranty, you can contact us about our toner warranty: hp.com/contactHP
