HP toner cartridges are the only way to go. I tried some generic cartridges but they did not perform as well as the original HP cartridges.

I have just purchased my third set of toner cartridges for my CP1518ni printer. The replacement cartridge was a far better, longer lived, product. The software now provides a warning concerning remaining life of the individual cartridges rather than admonishing you for not replacing them at factory set intervals. Being frugal is still a virtue and being the decision maker at least inflates my ego.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product is well packaged, but easy to open and install. Great quality ink - nothing else to say - great product - does what it claims. Have bought it for years and will continue to do so.
