Not What I Expected

Not thrilled with these earbuds. The sound quality is very tinny, and they have zero bass response. Not really as advertised. If you are looking fora rich sound with good bass, these are not the ones to buy.

Thanks for your feedback. We are here to help with your JBL Vibe Beam. This instance is sometimes caused by the quality of your source, depending on what you are listening to. You may also check the music player app to see if Equalizer is engaged. If engaged, turn off the Equalizer. If turning it off does not resolve the issue, turn it on again and adjust the EQ by boosting the bass to your liking. You can also try to use our JBL Headphones App to navigate or put the earbuds in your desired mode. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support.

Disappointed

Easily one of the worst pair of earbuds I've ever owned. I got them less than a year ago and it has been non-stop issues with them.
First: I couldn't get the gel tip off to put one of the other sizes on so I just got used to the discomfort.
Second: The sound kept getting quieter and quieter. Now, I have to turn them all the way up just to hear my music at all.
Third: The charging on the case is spotty at best. The earbuds will be in the case and disconnected from the case charger. This will have my phone disconnect from my car bluetooth or automatically connect to the earbuds when I'm trying to listen to music out loud. When I try to reconnect my phone to whatever device I was listening to, the earbuds will just override that again when they disconnect from the charger. This makes me have to go into my phone's settings just to unpair the earbuds from my phone for a couple of hours. Additionally, due to the spotty charging, they're rarely fully charged and I have to blow in the charging hole every five minutes to get them to connect to the charger for any period of time. They're never immediately available when I would like to use them.
I really never leave bad reviews and have loved all other JBL products I've ever owned, but dealing with these issues over the past 11 months finally got to me.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Vibe Beam. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. Charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back in the case. To remove the ear tips, please try twisting it. To give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal to achieve the best seal and secure fit. Highly recommends!

Best headphones I’ve came across. Broke my first pair after 2 and a half years. I pop them in at 7AM when i hit the road and I don’t take them off till about 5-6ish when I’m off. Only have to charge them once a day. I highly recommend. 10/10

The earbuds work, but app doesn’t

Fix the app vibe beam earbuds will not be recognized by the app! I tried every possible way to remedy this! Why have an app that can’t even recognize its own products! Major fail? I will not be buying your products again and not recommend your company!

Thanks for your feedback. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue, and do the following in order. First, go into the app and clear the Cache, then uninstall the app from your device. Next, forget or unpair the JBL Vibe Beam from the Bluetooth list on your device, then reboot the device/phone twice (this is an important step, as it ensures that the device has gone through an entire on/off cycle without ever seeing the app or Bluetooth pairing, so all remnants are removed from the phone). Third, reset the earbuds. After that, pair them to your device. Play some music to ensure a good Bluetooth connection. Lastly, download and install the app, open the app, and allow all permissions (the app will not function without permissions). When the app opens, it should find your speaker and function properly. Please know that we can not guarantee the use of our app when using Beta versions of Operating Systems. If the issue remains, please contact us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these earbuds! Put them in and cleaned the whole house. Great sound. Very comfy! Easy to switch songs, turn volume up! Everything. Blocks out all other sounds. Battery seems to last, charged all night and has been hours and still working perfect. Can’t wait till summer! Perfect for the yard work.
