Pretty satisfied with the sound quality and features for the price. If you don't have good sound quality and think that the sound is leaking, You might want to increase the size of the plunger

Great sound! Too bulky
on February 21, 2024

I bought these a few months back. I love the sound the only downside about these headphones is that they don't stay in my ear AT ALL! I have swapped out the little rubber piece and still no luck. I sweat a lot while working out. Even while running they fall out. I have cleaned out my ears prior to using and still no change. Hope this helps

To quiet

They worked well and were pretty comfortable in the beginning bit for some reason the left earbud just kept getting quieter and now it's barley even audible I don't know why it's like that but it's just really annoying.

Thanks for the feedback. In order for your JBL Vibe Beam to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. Please try to angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. You may also check the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings on your music player app, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings, and the balance control on the JBL Headphone App. Next, this is the most common reason for no sound/lack of sound issues. A simple cleaning will almost always fix this problem. Please click on the link below for detailed online instructions. Lastly, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support.

Do not buy these headphones
on March 3, 2025

I’ve had these headphones for about three months and they’re the worst I’ve ever owned. It says 32 hours of battery life but that’s a blatant lie. Even when disconnected and turned off, the battery in the charging box is constantly draining, and when the charging box dies it turns on the headphones so they die as well. You have to charge them every night, don’t waste your money and go buy better headphones.

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery of your JBL Vibe Beam is losing its capacity, which may be the reason it depletes without being used. We would like to work with you directly to address the issue. Please contact us.

Still using product, but I am sure there is better

They work for the most part. I have been using the right one almost daily for a year. The left one is quieter than the right one, and I have seen another review on this site saying the same thing, so that makes me think this is a common-ish problem.
When the battery gets low there is a voice that says "BATTERY IS LOW" and it is SO LOUD. I have asked support if this low battery warning can be made quieter and they said there is no way to make the warning quieter. Scares me every time it yells in my ear "BATTERY IS LOW".
Would have looked at different options if I knew the left one wouldnt work as well as the right, and if I knew about the deafening low battery warning

We appreciate your feedback. We're here to help. The low battery notification is a fixed, unadjustable setting. This is a safety feature designed to protect battery health by preventing full depletion. Regarding the reduced volume in the left earbud, please verify the audio balance settings. This control allows you to adjust the relative volume of each earbud. Make sure the left/right balance is set to the center or default position. You can typically access this setting in the playback or equalization (EQ) settings of your music player app, or alternatively, in the JBL Headphones app. For further assistance, please contact us.

Major battery loss within a year.

The headphones had resonable battery life close to the advertised 8 hours. 10 Months later after I fully charged the headphones I ended up getting 'battery is low" messages after I used them on two 12 minute sessions. The battery shouldn't be draining when I disconnect the bluetooth and closed the case but it appears either that is happening or the battery life drastically decreaed in less than a year. Im glad I got these for free on a promo so I didn't end up wasting money.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. With TWS earbuds, charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts, which can include sweat, grease, earwax, and more. These issues can often be resolved by cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and the charging case. For further assistance, please contact our customer support. https://support.jbl.com/us/en

Really good

Really good audio and the battery is phenomenal. I use this for everything. It also manages to survive the washer, falling in a cup of water, and the sink two times. The person that says “the battery is low” is incredibly loud though.

Great for on-the-go listening!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Regarding sound and usability, these headphones are perfect for the casual listener; they’re a great value for the quality they supply. They have an even balance and a moderate soundstage. While they lack the really deep bass of higher-tier earbuds, I think that only improves their usability as on-the-go and background music headphones. Listening through these doesn’t feel obtrusive like other earbuds I’ve used, both in sound and the actual feel of them in your ear. The touch controls are responsive, but not overly so and I didn’t have issues accidentally pressing them. They also have a pretty solid noise-canceling effect (ear tips impact this heavily), so overall these are great on-the-go headphones!
And the look and feel? I find it to be quite nice. I love the matte black look and while the build is very plastic, they look classy. The shape of the case, being wider rather than taller, I find to be a benefit.
I would like to mention the way they sit in the case, which is a bit strange. It can be a bit cumbersome, especially if you have thicker fingers. I’m able to easily remove them from the case, but my boyfriend had a bit of trouble. Also, when you pull them out, they are facing backwards, so to put them in your ear you either have to finagle them around or use both hands to really get one out of the case and in your ear. The ear tips run a bit large on these, as well, so they had a tendency to slowly push back out of my ears as I wore them and moved around, even while using the smallest rubber tip. I have little ear canals and this happens with all ear buds I’ve tried with the rubber tips, but my boyfriend had the same issue. Will that stop me from using them? Definitely not!
I would recommend this to a friend!
