keep your watch 5/6

Cool watch with tons of cool features, but the battery is horrible. I've had a galaxy gear s2, an s3 frontier, and a watch 5, and ALL the older batteries outperformed the watch 7 battery duration.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there! We really appreciate your honest feedback. Your input is crucial as we strive to make improvements. We noticed that you contacted us about the Watch7. The Watch7 offers improved Heart Rate Tracking with Galaxy AI, which filters out your body's movements for a more accurate reading, allowing you to get the most out of your workouts. If your watch's battery is draining quickly, we recommend making sure that your watch is up to date with the latest available software. Prior to starting the update process, ensure that your watch has a good battery charge; you may not be able to update without at least a 30% charge. To update the software on your connected phone, go to and open the Galaxy Wearable app. Tap Watch settings, then tap Watch software update. If your watch displays a Home tab, swipe to and tap Watch software update or Band software update, and then tap Download and install. If this continues to be your experience, please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can further investigate what could be causing this. -Kelvin

DO NOT "UPGRADE"
on August 10, 2024

I had a galaxy watch 6 which I LOVED before this. the galaxy watch 7 is a complete downgrade.
watch overheats when charging and shuts off
battery life is worse
it's bulkier on the wrist
bands from watch 6 don't fit right
included bands are uncomfortable and hard to take off
BIGGEST ISSUE TO ME:
they removed the wireless power share feature, I used that feature daily on my Galaxy watch 6 while showering at the gym, their was no disclosure that this feature was removed and I find that ridiculous.
DO NOT BUY THIS

We appreciate your honest feedback, Vivi. Your feedback is crucial as we continue to make improvements. We see that you reached out regarding the Watch7. The Watch7 comes with features such as Energy Score. Energy Score measures your daily physical and mental energy and readiness. It analyzes your sleep, activity, and heart rate to calculate a score for the next day, exclusively with Samsung Galaxy wearables. If you are experiencing a shortened battery life or your watch overhearing, we recommend making sure that your device's software is up to date with the latest software version. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. Or, tap About Gear, and then tap Update Gear software. If this continues, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

We value your honest feedback and are dedicated to providing the best experience for all our customers. It seems that you have contacted us to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7. The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 now can track advanced glycation end products (AGEs) for the first time, providing a better understanding of metabolic health. Additionally, a Dual-frequency GPS system enables more precise location tracking during workouts in any outdoor environment. The Galaxy Watch uses light sensors that operate within the limits set by the IEC62471 safety regulations. We understand the importance of having a long-lasting battery to enjoy these features. If you are experiencing shortened battery life, we suggest ensuring that your watch has the latest software version. To do this, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. Depending on your watch, tap Watch settings or the SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About Watch and select Update Watch software. Alternatively, tap About Gear and then tap Update Gear software. It's also important to ensure that the apps used with the watch are up to date, as software updates help maintain smooth operation, enhance security, and improve the user interface while also removing minor bugs. If this continues to be your experience, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Not the battery and poor customer service

So far the battery has been sub par. I have to have most of the features off to get through the day and be able to sleep in the watch. If I do a work out it doesn't make the day.this is even after the recent update. Also the promo for the free watch band was a waste. They only sent out M/L bands and they don't fit. So that's a waste of time and product.

Watch=The Best

At first I thought connecting the watch 7 44mm to Bluetooth would save battery life well turns out simply turning mobile networks to auto and battery saving mode makes the watch last about 2 days and 21 hours. Love the ECG Reading for my PVC heart murmur that I can snapshot to my doctor. Awesome sleep tracking for someone who has insomnia.
I would recommend this to a friend!
