Very nice so far

It's definitely an upgrade from the previous model. Much thinner and lighter, smaller overall but with a larger working area. The new controls - takes a bit of getting used to, but I'd say they're nicer than the previous ones, especially with their new position. The pen - feels like a major upgrade. The third button - once you're used to it, it's super handy. Haven't tried the extra button covers yet, but the options are nice.
Software - better than the previous one, the interface has changed for the better, but the old version is still part of it should one need to access it. I still can't see an option to switch the shortcuts to a new version of the same software (PS 24 to PS 25 for example), so I guess they still need to be remade if you update your software version, which is far less than ideal.
I've only had it for 2 weeks, but so far so good. We'll see how well it ages. Hope it's better than the previous models.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phenomenal tablet, but too flimsy

Professional for around 20 years, been using Wacom tablets exclusively. Huge fan, the tablets do the job and last forever. My first grey Intous2 would still work, I'm sure. Over the past 2 decades I've had 3 Wacoms, all I've upgraded because I wanted to, not needed.
Till this one. The pen is too flimsy, and broke after 2 months of use. The pen comes with endless customization options, maybe that made the button structure too weak? Maybe I got a lemon? I dunno. But buttons started falling out of the pen (I absolutely need those buttons to work) and now I've taped it (didn't work) and then reverted to my 12 years old previous Wacom pen. Unacceptable.
The power of Wacom, for me, was that it was a tool. A professional tool that can get the job done for professionals that depend on it for their livlihood for years and years. The fact the latest Wacom is so flimsy that it falls apart (making it useless) after 2 months is a shock and I feel if this is happening elsewhere artists might start flocking to their competitors :(
Hopefully Wacom fixes their ways, the market is too full of cheaper alternatives...if they are cheaper *and* sturdier? Why buy a Wacom?
