nice quality tool, but when using the right angle attachment it came unlocked several times. need to upgrade batteries, 2.0 runs out of power quick when drilling.

A compact tool with unique options

I decided to go with Bosch because I liked the ergonomic fit of the tool in my hand, the size and shape. It was not the same tool I saw in nearly every other toolbox.
I use for electronics mainly, disassemble, repair, etc... This is also useful to me for driving screws in wood, since I do not drive big deck screws or into wood construction.
I wanted a right angle driver as well, to drill sideways in house structure to feed wires into walls. The right angle is still a little bulky for me to do that with my walls, I had to actually get another tool that was more slim and less durable.
I do not ever use the offset attachment, and when I probably needed it, I forget I have it. I mainly use the hex driver, with my other power drill both at same time for drill hole and then drive a screw.
The switch attachments click in a little too easily when my clumsy hands try and chuck with the 3-jaw. The chuck will detach with less force than it takes to grip a bit. Maybe something I need to get used to. This kind of makes me regret just buying the specific tool.
I use the clutch a lot. Between the clutch, chick and click detach there are 3 twist operations that seems it always wants to detach whenever I dry for any other the 2 operations.
It is semi light weight, not too heavy and powerful enough to do what I need. I want something lighter for unscrew panels and metal / plastic assembly, but that would probably sacrifice power. This whole kit does most of what I need, but can not compare to specific tools for each job. Of course the cost is a consideration, since each tool would cost as much as this whole kit, if I bought 3 different ones.
The motor seems to keep going so far after 7 months, without signs of it wearing out so far. Lots of moving parts still sound and feel the same way as when I got this the first time.
Battery time is great, it never seems to just die 10 minutes before I am done, unlike my other tool wants to do. Of course that is just a matter of luck of course. I never just carry around a spare fully charged battery when I am in a tight spot about to finish a job, my battery is always 3 floors away, then down in the garage or out to the truck.
So far I enjoy the tool, but this is not a final total solution. I still need other specific tools which will do a better task. Maybe if the 3 jaw chuck were improved, or other options were available would be nice.

When it comes to tools I am not a big fan of combo tools, this has to the exception. A go to tool for sure.

I bought this specifically for the offset driver. I’m an airplane mechanic and it is perfect for tight areas. No problems with any of the attachments. Love it

At first I was not sure I would like it, but gave it a chance. The option of multi-changing attachments actually is great. I have found reasons to try each and every one and this drill/driver is actually a great tool for anyone.
