Love this hotpot

I've had this for almost ten years and it's never failed me. Only recently I needed to replace the top. A bit expensive when it only needed a small seal replacement, but still, I assume that's because it is such a tight fit that it needs to be done by a machine. I'm still totally happy with this purchase and very grateful that it hasn't been discontinued.

The quality is bad. The lid doesn’t fully open. When I try to open it wide so I fill the water, it broke, after two weeks of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with this products. Our water boiler will stay on while plugged in, this is the basic way they work in order to keep water hot on tap. The water boiler has an automatic shut off which is triggered when the water boiler doesn't have any water or is empty. This is more of a safety mechanism and not an on/off switch like you would have with a kettle. The water boiler is designed to keep water hot while plugged in and has water inside it.
