I'm 56 years old and have been using electric rotary razors all my shaving life. This was purchased for me and I was sceptical even opening the package..... But this is for real! It's smooth, sharp and just glides through my beard. I trim my mustache and hairs that shouldn't be there. The battery last so long I forgot the last time I charged it and charged it anyway! Couple that with a name like Phillips /Norelco that I've use their products before and this is one great shaver. My pile of shaver, trimmers and chargers are much smaller now! Thanks for another great product.... For Real!
Pros: smooth, fast, long battery life, small footprint, quiet (compared to rotary)
Amazingly convenient for home and travel. Very efficient. Holds charge great. Blade lasts a really long time. I am still using my first one and have had since before Christmas.
Pros: lightweight, packs easily, easy to clean, works wet, great charge
Cons: wish the body blade was better for total grooming
This is not a shaver. It cuts closely, but not as close as a razor. I trim my whiskers (Castro had a beard, Marx had a beard, etc.; but Gabby Hayes had wiskers - George Carlin) one or two times a week. It works great for this. It leaves the equivalent of a day's growth (your day's growth may vary).
Useless now that the battery does not charge. At first, it was an amazing product. Went through my beard like hot butter. No razor rash. For the price, it is not worth it now that the battery does not charge. Left it charging overnight and now works for 20 secs...
I bought this trimmer to keep my beard trimmed. The 5 mm is a little too short for me. I would like to see a 7mm and 9 mm attachment available for longer beards. The trimmer itself works well and I am still on the first charge. The replacement blades seem a bit expensive.
YES! I shave my face, head, underarms, groin, all with this simple shaver, and no shaving cream from the neck up! This blade doesn't even leave the rash, dry, that I used to get from my previous shaver. It's not a skin close shave, but I don't think it was really meant to be. If you like a little stubble or you are just trimming a beard, it'll be the best money you've spent on a shaver/blade.
Pros: versatile, does the job, excellent cutter
Cons: takes some time if you're shaving a large area
