This truly shaves as close as a blade. No razer burn. I have been recommending this to all of my friends and family. I will still trim my goatee the old way using clippers.

Awkward Layout makes Prescision Difficult

This is my second Phillips trimmer within a month, and as a long time Phillips customer, I have to say that I'm really upset about their offerings.
Both tools were very expensive, and one is their flagship model... And yet even though it had dozens of features and attachments, both we're completely incapable of precision trimming.
What good is shaving all of the hair off, only to then need two more trimmers and a razor to finish the job?
I've been evaluating consumer products for the government for over 20 years, and I've always loved Phillips, but they missed the boat in the trimmer market.
Pros: reliable
Cons: will not do presicion work, awkward layout for trimming, poor visibility when tilted to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced my electric razor

This razor surpassed my expectations. I’m still pretty surprised. I wanted this for my birthday and asked for it, then got it from my parents, and figured it would be nice to use for a quick shave instead of charging up my big electric razor, rinsing the small blades, washing it all, putting it back up, charging it again, etc. Nope - this thing shaves great and is done in over half the time a normal (and much more expensive) electric razor costed me.
This has replaced my bulky, expensive electric razor and I plan on using this from now on, hands down.
Pros: quick shave, fast charge, not expensive
Cons: seriously none

Great product but the guards break quickly

I've bought 5+ one blades over the past few years (@philips see pic below). Product works well but the clip that holds the guards in place breaks very easily and will not remain on the blade. This is EXTREMELY frustrating as it falls off while trimming and has often left a spotty shave. After going through 4+ guards (#1) I looked online to purchase replacements. I refuse exorbitant price [redacted by Philips] for ONE replacement guard.
Cons: guards break often no realistic solution

Great product

This is a fantastic product. I love how easy it is to use. I use it with my face freshly washed with hot water and it cuts pretty smooth. It's no doubt the best electric razor I've ever owned. I have only one complaint. I have very thick and coarse hair and it clogs fast if shaving alot of hair. But it rinses easily and you can pick up where you left off. Great product overall.

Comfortable and efficient way to shave. Does not remove facial hair as close as does a blade but more than acceptable for daily use and grooming.
