When shavers are this expensive they should last longer than a day. Tried getting support from Phillips but I got it with Airmiles so they wouldn’t help.

Does Not Shave Close & Gave Me Huge Razor Burn

I was in need of a new shaver and tried the OneBlade after hearing overall positive reviews. First off, I'm confused as to why this is marketed as being able to shave in either direction when the instruction booklet explicitly states that one must shave against the grain for best results. Secondly, the blade itself is simply too small as I had to shave the same area multiple times just to get it okay (did not have a long beard, mainly stubble). However, when I looked in the mirror, the OneBlade had missed many areas of my face and I noticed a huge razor burn on my neck, below the chin. I normally get a bit of a razor burn but nothing like this.
Pros: rechargeable battery
Cons: not a close shave, razor burn

Wasn't a fan of any razor that didn't have a Blade attached , do to the fact I could never get the close shave with any electric or battery operated shavers no matter who made them. My Daughter was shaving her fiance' one day and asked if I would like to have her shave & shape my beard for me.
