Difficult to use and not effective

I bought this to help me shave the face of my husband with early onset Alzheimer’s. It simply did not work. It was difficult to hold in the angle provided in the directions and the results were patchy at best. Under the nose it cut his skin and left him with a horizontal linear scab for over a week. Going against the grain of the hair as directed did not provide a close shave and irritated his skin. This razor is expensive but does not live up to the hype. I was hoping to make my life as a caregiver easier. This razor is not the answer.

I use the trimmer for my goatee and works great. I have a few shavers but this one outshines them all.
Pros: easy to use and clean, different trimming guides
Cons: blades are costly

So far I've had my One Blade for about a month. It shaves really nice and doesn't cause and razor burns, cuts or scratches. The shave isn't the closest I've ever had, but it fells pretty good, especially to my wife.
Since I've only had the razor about a month, (a week over that), I can't yet say that it still cuts great after nearly 3 or 4 months. I should expect that it will since I only shave twice a week on average. I hope that it will continue to perform since my calculations show that traditional razors, (even from one of those cheap shaver clubs), cost twice as much to use over the course of a year compared to the Philips One Blade. Hopefully I can comment again in a couple of months to give a better report.
Pros: simple and easy to use, glides across my skin, works fantastically with shaving oils, easy to clean, you can use it wet or dry
Cons: i have to go a couple of times across my face
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement blade suck.

Replacement blades are useless. They break with the slight pressure. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND!!!! Had the shaver about 2 months and all 4 blades simply broke. I'll have to buy a different shaver.
