Blades are TERRIBLE!!

The blades used to be fair, but now they are terrible. The only way they cut is pushing the blade up. Something changed a few months. Has the manufacturer changed or what happened?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, we'd like to inform you that the blade is made of durable stainless steel that keeps its fresh feel for up to 4 months of use*.
The performance of the blade may not be at its best after the replacement indicator, the eject icon, appears on it. For the optimum shaving experience, it is time to consider changing the blade. We hope this information was helpful.

I do love this razor.

This is probably the best razor I have ever used, I'm not big on shaving (it's just too time consuming and labor intensive haha) but with the Norelco Oneblade I don't mind it at all. The Oneblade had me on easy street when it came to maintaining a well groomed face. That is until after having it for only two weeks I dropped it in the sink and the head broke off. The refills are a bit expensive so I can't just run out and buy another considering I still have some disposables left. I'm giving this review an overall rating of 3 stars only because the Oneblade wasn't durable enough to withstand being dropped in my sink. Other than that I do love this razor!

i shave at least 3 times a week this razor is fast. what takes me 10 minutes to do with my mach 4 takes 2 minutes with this razor. I am impressed. It dont do a perfect job but i run my own business and am short on time so it is great to shave off a few minutes grooming in the morning.
Pros: fast, easy
Cons: leaves stubble
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement blade suck.

Replacement blades are useless. They break with the slight pressure. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND!!!! Had the shaver about 2 months and all 4 blades simply broke. I'll have to buy a different shaver.

Awkward Layout makes Prescision Difficult

This is my second Phillips trimmer within a month, and as a long time Phillips customer, I have to say that I'm really upset about their offerings.
Both tools were very expensive, and one is their flagship model... And yet even though it had dozens of features and attachments, both we're completely incapable of precision trimming.
What good is shaving all of the hair off, only to then need two more trimmers and a razor to finish the job?
I've been evaluating consumer products for the government for over 20 years, and I've always loved Phillips, but they missed the boat in the trimmer market.
Pros: reliable
Cons: will not do presicion work, awkward layout for trimming, poor visibility when tilted to use

Great product, horrible durability

First off this is exactly what I wanted in a trimmer. I can cut close to a clean shave like cut, or trim a number of lengths dry or wet. I travel constantly for work and this allows me to not carry razors and cream. Unfortunately I have broken the heads time and time again, even with the little cover attached. You need to include a cheap plastic travel case for the whole unit and guards to eliminate breakage. With the high price of the heads and the frustration of opening my bag to see it inoperable, I am going to have to return to my old ways of razors.
